Feature Friday
Hello tape fans! Today it's Feature Friday and that means it's all about you! This week we got a very yummy project in the Love My Tapes in box from Toni Kwaiser!
Tony created this fabric flower with our Madison fabric tape and she our double sided adhesive. She also used Unity stamps for her project. We love the colors Toni choose for this project.
With fabric tape, flowers are fun and easy! Right now in the Love My Tapes store we have also have 12 packs of our adhesive for $30!! That's only $2.50 per unit.
And speaking of our adhesive
Our designer Shemaine Smith used our double sided adhesive to hold these ribbon folds in place on her ribbon rainbow for the Papercraft's Gallery Idol competition. To create this rainbow she cut strips of ribbon and folded them with a glue dot and then ran a strip of adhesive on the rainbow template and carefully pressed each ribbon onto the cardstock. Our adhesive really does hold ribbon well!
We'd like to thank Toni for sending in her project for our Feature Friday. Be sure and visit Toni's blog Kool n Krafty Mom for more inspiration!
If you'd like to be featured on Feature Fridays simply email us your artwork to our email address @ lovemytapes@gmail.com. Each week we'll feature the artwork we receive in our mailbox and a link to your blog. Here's the deets for your photo submissions

Fun with Fabric Tapes
Hello tape fans! Fabric tapes are fun to use on cards and projects. They are easy to apply and create with. What I like most about fabric tapes is that they are easy to do ribbon pleats with. Most ribbon pleating I have seen on cards has to have staples to hold the pleats into place but with the fabric tape it's easy to create pleats that hold themselves due to the adhesive on the back of the fabric design.
For this card I used our Peppermint fabric tape
You can find this style in the Love My Tapes store here.

Paper piecing with Love My Tapes adhesive
Hello tape fans! Using our double sided adhesive to create layouts is easy and the results are always perfect. Our double sided adhesive glides on your cardstock with a full strip of glue every time and is very strong. Not only does it hold cardstock well but our adhesive also holds ribbon, glitter and flock beautifully. This layout was created with our double sided adhesive and the birds were created using small pieces of scraps for the body, tail and wings.
You can order your Love My Tapes double sided adhesive from our store here. Also look for us at Summer CHA in Chicago July 27th-29th.

Tuesday Tape Tip
Hello tape fans! Today's Tuesday Tape tip is all about decor. In my studio I like to collect little jars to keep buttons and smaller embellishments in. I picked up some really inexpensive small jars at Michaels {they were a buck to be exact} and I keep my Making Memories buttons in them. I thought the fabric tapes would be a fun way to jazz them up a bit so I wrapped some of our Jane and Penny around each one. I then added two Prima flowers layered and finished them off with one of the buttons in each jar.
Now I can just quickly look at the jar and know they hold that color buttons on the center of the flowers. Super easy!
I used the following two styles of our fabric tape for my project.

Tuesday Tape Tip
Hello tape fans! We are thrilled at the response we've gotten to our fabric tape and all of your orders. We appreciate your business and look forward to meeting your fabric tape and adhesive needs.
Now onto this week's Tuesday Tape Tip!!
Banners are a big trend in card making and scrapbooking right now so we decided to create one using our new fabric tapes. You can easily create banners like this one featuring paper from Pebbles Inc new Tree house line by cutting out your pattern cardstock in your desired banner shape and then laying them in a straight line on your crafting table. The place half of the width of the fabric tape over the top of the banner and lift the banner off your table and simply fold the other side to the back of your banner and Voila!
For added detail to this banner we used some buttons and Waxy Flax by Close To My Heart. After tying the buttons in between the flags of our banner we simply twisted the Waxy Flax around our paper piercer to create the coiled look.
We'd love to see your banners created with our tapes! Send your crafty project images to lovemytapes@gmail.com and you might see your work here on our Feature Friday post!
We'd also like to Congratulate the Moxie Fab winners posted today at the Moxie Fab Blog! We can't wait to see what you create with your Moxie Fab Love My Tapes Prize!!!
