Love My Tapes fan mail

Good morning friends. We've got another fan that sent us some of her creations using our masking tapes and double sided adhesive.
Ashley Nguyen Newell sent us a couple of beautiful cards she created with our products that she won from a giveaway at Examiner.com. Click here to read the review of Love My Tapes.

Here's what Ashley wrote us to say about creating with Love My Tapes:

"I really like the adhesive. The best thing about it is that it comes out in a consistent line every time which is something I was not getting from other runners. The tape is also very strong which is a plus.
The Washi tape is super cool! I was able to reposition it MANY times while I was pleating it and it never lost it's stickiness or shape."

Here's a look at Ashley's creations

The colors and design of these cards are so beautiful and we love the way she crinkled the Washi tape on the second card and added some staples for that extra flair. Very trendy Ashley!

For more beautiful creations by Ashley, visit her blog hearthugsdesigns

We love hearing from our fans so please email us your reviews and projects that you've created at lovemytapes@gmail.com and we'll feature you as a fan too!

Blog Winner Review

We're excited to share some projects with you today created by Ivy Wong, one of our blog giveaway winners. We'd also like to thank Ivy for being our first featured fan on the Love My Tapes blog!

When Ivy got her prize package from us she wasted no time trying out Love My Tapes double sided adhesive.
Here's what she had to say

"I tried your adhesive from the blog candy that I won from you and it is wonderful!!
Usually, when I run adhesive tape to ribbon, it tends to stretch out and/or warp the ribbon a little crooked but not with your product! Thanks for a great product!"

Thank you Ivy for sending us your beautiful cards and your honest review! We think our double sided adhesive is pretty great too! Most adhesives don't hold ribbon well but ours is easy to apply and holds beautifully everytime.

Here's a look at what Ivy created with Love My Tapes.

To see more of Ivy's creations visit her blog I Should Be Sleeping But...
If you'd like to be featured on the Love My Tapes blog we want to hear from you! Email us at lovemytapes@gmail.com
There's still time to enter our Product Testers call and we've got a Facebook fan contest going on over here.

Tuesday Tape Tip!

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend! This week's Tuesday Tape Tip is how to make some fun and easy flowers with our Japanese Masking Tapes. For this project we'll be using this style

Japanese Masking Tape

- 2 packs deco in a zip bag
- 15mm (wide) x 15 m (long)

Made of traditional Japanese washi paper
Excellent for decorating packages, gift wrapping, scrapbooking, card making

Safe for photo

To make these flowers you'll need to cut 3 pieces of white card stock 2 inches by 3 inches. Cover the card stock with stripes of the masking tape and use a corner rounder to round the edges or cut the round edges by hand with scissors. Use a hold punch to punch a hole in the center to layer each strip first in an X then add the last layer across the X. I used Kaisercraft flowers to layer and add dimension. Finally I used the itop tool from Imaginisce to create my own custom brad with the matching red tape. I used two strips to cover the brad and tucked it under the sides and used the tool to create the brad for the center. You can use any decorative brad for your flower.
You can also make your flowers smaller by using smaller strips of paper and rounding the edges in a more pointed style.
We'd love to see what you create with the Japanese tapes so be sure and link up your creations to this post.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Tuesday Tape Tip!

Welcome to Tuesday Tape tip where every Tuesday we'll be showing you some fun and easy projects you can do at home with our tapes.
Some of you may have seen our masking tapes at the Craft and Hobby Expo in Anaheim. We got the opportunity to meet many local store owners and they seemed excited about our product. Be sure and ask for Love MY Tapes wherever you shop!
This week we're going to show you how to dress up a simple clothes pin with our Washi masking tapes. The various colors and designs we offer can add to any craft project you have in mind to create. Today all you'll need is a few inches of masking tape and a plain clothes pin.
Here's step one

As you can see, these are quick and easy to make. Simply cover the bare clothes pins with the tape. You can use the tapes from this roll below or trim any size tape to fit your clothes pins. The tape can be lifted and re-adjusted easily on the clothes pins without tearing. When you have the tape on straight simply smooth the tape on the clothes pin firmly and it stays.

Take it a step further and embellish your clothes pin with your favorite flower and a button

Looks great and can be used with a magnet glued on the back for holding notes on your fridge at home.
The mini clothes pins are fun to decorate as well

They are perfect for attaching tags to gift bags

Or skip the envelope and attach your card to the gift bag with one of the fun clips

We'd love to see what you try this Tuesday Tape Tip so be sure and link up your creations to this post.
You can find the clothespins at any hardware or superstore. I picked these up at Target in a package of 50 for 1.99.
Thanks for stopping by today!
