I heart...Bold Red Hearts & Bold Red Polka Dots!

Here is a simple layout that you can recreate in about 5 minutes.  As busy as I am lately, I am trying to get some of my layouts done in 15 minutes or less.. this is one of them.  I created this layout for an April Color Challenge, so it was even easier knowing I could only use 3 colors.

All you need is some black and white paper another color that you have in washi tapes and a few matching color embellishments.  Of course a favorite picture too.

Mini Banners

Hello Happy Hump Day!

Today I am sharing 2 projects I made using my Love My Tapes washi and fabric tapes.




 I used strips of the red fabric tapes and washi tapes to create a mini banner for my fireplace mantle and to go across a layout.
Same technique was used for both banners.. just fold the tapes in half over the twine or ribbon of choice and cut ends.
Super simple yet adds fun detail to any layout or card.

Hello Love My Tape Fans,

I hope you have been following our blog the last few weeks.  We have been busy introducing our design team, had a giveaway, and now we are just days aways from posting our new projects as a design team.  

Today is my day to say Hi, and introduce myself. 
I am the owner of Scrap It Girl, Design Team Calls, and ScrapChallenge.  If I am not shopping on line for new products, you can usually fine me teaching a class at my local Hobby Lobby, Museums, Schools, or in my home studio.  I am a full time Paper-Craft Instructor, Retailer, Designer, and Party Planner.

I am the Design Team Coordinator for Love My Tapes and Unique Laser Designs.  I love scrapbooking and altered art projects.  I also enjoy decorating  my home by incorporating DIY projects and furniture that I can paint. 

I am addicted to my Grande Starbucks No Whip Mocha that I have to have everyday.  I also need music on in order to craft, I love to be with people, and I love having pool parties.
