Valentine mixed media canvas

Hi Love My Tapes fans! JJ here again, this time with a mixed media canvas for Valentine's Day.

After preparing my background, I applied several designs of fabric and lace tapes in repeating stripes.  Having the self-adhesive tapes made it so easy to get everything to stay exactly where I wanted it, especially when I sealed the entire canvas with a gel medium top coat at the end.

For the dimensional hearts, I placed the fabric sheets on chipboard, then die-cut the shapes.  Sticking the fabric to the chipboard first makes sure that you will get perfect alignment - so much easier than trying to die cut them separately!

Perfect Pair

Hi friends! It's Ashley here today to share a card with you. I'm gearing up for CHA so if you'll be there please stop by the Love My Tapes booth, #869 and I'll be there for a few hours everyday!

Here's a Valentine's Day card I made. I got a really cute mini card deck in a stocking and I thought that they would be really cute on cards. Us crafters are always thinking. ;) And what would be more perfect that Love My Tapes Red Stripe Fabric Tape to go with it? Nothing!

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I have a layout to share that's full of clean lines, but has quite alot of pop to it!

Using a black & white photo really lets you play with any colors you want, it's a bit freeing actually!  Then mounting everything with a little bit of black cardstock helps ground all the different colors.



Right now I am totally addicted to cutting then ends of my tapes into swallow tails.

I even added one of the vintage images from the Canvas Stickers for a touch of whimsy & fun!

Hello my friends! Giovana here with a sweet card for you. Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I want to show a project I made using Red/White Polka dot Fabric Sheet Tape and your favorite dies!
These fabric tapes give your project more texture and they look really pretty :) I found out you can use it with your dies and cutting machines.

• Choose your favorite die.
• Measure it on top of your fabric sheet and cut a piece.
• Adhere your fabric sheet on thin cardstock.
• Then run it into your cutting machine like a regular piece of cardstock. You can even emboss it (look at my second picture)
• The cute bear is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, colored it with Copic Markers.

"It's Not a Dinosaur" layout - JJ Sobey

I created this page to help showcase that you can totally use Love My Tapes products on 'boy' pages.  See - you CAN use lace on boy pages.  Being 'chose-y' helps.  :)

I'm not a banner girl, but this just 'worked' for this layout, and it was super easy with the self-adhesive fabric tape.  Just wrap a piece around the wire, and snip.

I added a die-cut piece of fabric from the 'anchors' fabric sheet.  And the ink splats were just for fun. :)

 I can't seem to do anything with lace ribbon tape from Love My Tapes.
Anything romantic & girly goes lovely with lace tape!
Here I have two rows with pearls in the center...
