Hello everyone!  Lynn here today sharing a layout  I created using tapes from the Love My Tapes Etsy Store.

I was in the mood to create a layout this time using ONLY washi tape and watercolor/ink... no pattered paper or cardstock.  I decided to go with bold washi since I was using photo strips.  Here are some close ups.

Remodel a Birdhouse Using Washi Tape!

Hi everyone!

Lynn here today sharing a little craft that I did using tapes from the Love My Tapes Etsy Store.

I found a wood birdhouse that I purchased a few years ago and decided it was time to make it pretty!

This was a really easy project.  The hardest part was deciding what tape to use ;)

I covered the entire birdhouse with mod podge and let try over night.  The next day, I added some fiber and embellishment.

This birdhouse never looked so good!!

Fun Father's Day Gift using LMT Washi Tape

Hi everyone!

Lynn here today.  Hope you are all doing well :)

With Father's Day right around the corner, I thought I would created a unique gift using some of the wonderful tapes available at the LMT Etsy Store.

I used washi tape around all the edges and matted each section with washi tape.

I am super excited at how it turned out and the kids can't wait to give it to hubby tomorrow.

This project was easy and fun to create.  I couldn't have done it without my washi tape :D

Great Job Mom! ~ Tutorial

Good morning everyone, Lynn here today sharing a Mother's Day card that I made using three different rolls of washi tape.  Scroll down for a little tutorial.

You can use your favorite die-cut machine or punch to cut out the quote or shape you need for your project or card.  After I cut out my quote, I placed the die-cut paper over another sheet of cardstock.  I traced lightly around the inner letters, careful not to leave any marks on my cardstock.

Here is what it looks like when you remove the top sheet.

Then I adhered the strips of LMT washi tape over the sections.

Now adhere your die-cut sheet on top and align.

There you have it!  Another fun way to play with LMT washi.  You can add other embellishments if desired.  I added a flower in the centre.

Selfie with Memere ~ Using Washi Tape on Your Layout

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hopefully you are sleeping in a little... but if not, here is a layout I created just for you this morning ;)

Gold is very trendy in the scrappy world right now.  I am totally obsessed with it!  I created a layout using two of my favorite washi tapes from Love My Tapes!

To create my title, I place stripes of  Copper Candy Stripes Washi Tape onto a piece of white cardstock and cut with my Silhouette.  It's a super easy way to create an original title.  I also used it to create an solid border around my layout!

 .  I used some Metallic Gold Triangle Washi Tape to mat my photos.  I also place random pieces of both washi tapes and cut diamond shapes with my Silhouette.  I tore strips and adhered it along the border to soften it up a bit.  I cut the heart shapes by hand.

First Communion ~ Using Washi Tape on Your Card

Good morning LMT fans!

Lynn here today sharing a card that I made for my daughter who will be receiving her first communion today!

To make this card, I cut a card from cardstock.  Then I covered a smaller piece of white cardstock with LMT Religious washi tape and adhered it to the card.  I printed my sentiment on another piece of cardstock, cut into a banner and distressed the edges.

To create my cup, I cut two 2" circles with my circle cutter and cut the top 1/3 to use for the base of my cup.  I used my doily punch to create a fancy edge on the top of the cup.  Then I adhered three pearls and a piece of ribbon from my stash.

Another fun an creative way to use washi tape :D

#Our Happy Place ~ Using Washi Tape on Your Layout

Hi everyone!

Lynn here today sharing another layout using some of the wonderful tapes available at the LMT Etsy Store.

There are several different ways that I used washi tape on my layout.  First I used a large mixture of tapes along one side to create my own mix. I guess you can say it's a collage ;)  I also tore a strip of washi tape to form a banner along the opposite side.

I used Wood washi tape to mat my photo.  This photo was taken at our cottage last fall and I wanted to keep a "woodsy" feel to it ;)

I created some feathers as embellishments by adhering some washi tape to a piece of white cardstock and cutting it out by hand.
