From blah to wow with fabric tapes

Hello, Love My Tapes fans! This is Maya and today I am going to show you how I took a simple cardboard box from blah to wow using a set of beautiful fabric tapes.

I used a 5x7 cardboard box that comes with my monthly cosmetic samples subscription. I love this size and use the empty boxes to store all kind of things.

I used the fabric tape value pack - it comes with three tapes in coordinating colors. I covered the box top with rows of tape and run another row along the edge to cover the edges of the tape.

Now my box is not only practical but also cute.
Check a great selection of fabric tape value packs in the store. You will want to get one of each!

Tweed Ride Mini Album

Hey there guys, Katie here! Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you this mini album I made. My Family and I recently did a Tweed Bicycle Ride, which is where everyone dresses up in tweed and rides around. They're fun. ;)

I made this mini album to document it and some of my Love My Tapes worked perfectly with the "tweed theme".

It was a rainy day the morning of the ride, so that blue raindrop tape from the Sometimes Fabric Tape Value Pack was perfect. You can find the awesome washi tapes I used in the Love My Tapes etsy shop.

I placed several strips of fabric tape horizontally.  I also used this fabric tape to form a border around my page.

Fabric Tape Bound Mini Album

Hey everyone, Katie here! Today I wanted to take a break from all of the Christmas projects to share with you guys this mini album I created using some pictures from a camping trip.

I make a lot of mini albums so I know a few different techniques for binding them. I created this one by using fabric tape for the binding. Here's how:

1. Start by cutting out your pages and front/back covers  from patterned paper or cardstock.

2, Place your cover face down onto your workplace with your first page face up right next to it. Take a strip of fabric tape and place where to 2 papers meet. Press firmly.

3. Fold your first page over to the left and repeat step 2 with your next page, lining it up and adding a strip of tape.

4. Repeat until you have all of your pages and back cover. I also added a couple of fabric tape strips around the back edge to hide where the pages are on the back.

I used a couple of my favorite black and white washi tapes on the inside pages as well.

Thanks for reading! :)

Not all who Wander are Lost Layout by Katie

Hey everyone, Katie here! Today I wanted to share this layout I created with you guys. I love scrapbooking in a 12x12" format, but sometimes the page just seems a little too wide for my photo. What I like to do is add either a strip of paper or washi tape to one side of the layout.

For this layout, I placed about 4 strips of the fabric tape along the right edge. I love the shade of green that fabric tape is. I think having that color block on one side of my layout is a good way to make the eye focus on my photo.

This green fabric tape is one of my favorites! It's so bright and I love the tiny leaf pattern. I also used the muslin/canvas fabric tape behind my title. I felt like my title was just sort of floating above my photo, so I added a couple of strips of the tape and it looks so much better!

I also wanted to share the card below that I made recently using the yellow gingham fabric tape. A fun use for the fabric tape is to layer it on a piece of paper and then cut it into 4 squares to make a grid like I did on this card.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you get a chance to look around at some of the other projects the design team has shared- they're definitely inspiring!

Just look at that face....

Hello everyone!  Tina here today with another doggie layout + washi and fabric tape!  I had so much fun using the washi and fabric tape on this layout, in one of my all time (and super easy) ways of using tapes.  Layer, layer, layer!

Washi and fabric tape are so great for creating layers, without the bulk.  I used the following tapes on this layout...

Brown Stripe Fabric Tape
Black and White Dot Washi Tape
Aqua Grid with Tiny Hearts Washi Tape
Red and White Dot Washi Tape

Here's a close-up of each tape.

and some close-ups of my layout.  (Paper and embellishments from Crate Paper)

That's all for today!  Post those layouts on our Facebook page.  I can't wait to see them!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great one!

For you my friend

Hello my friends! Giovana here with a card I made using some of the new Fabric Tapes from the Value Pack! All the background on my card was created with these pretty fabric tapes "Floral" and "Afresh", you can even use the same design to create a whole background piece , I think I would do that next time :)
For the butterflies I used a piece of Pink/White Polka Dot Fabric Tape Sheet. I adhered the fabric tape onto a piece of thin cardstock and then die-cut all the butterflies. I distressed all the butterflies edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.

Hope you like it.
