Hello and Happy Monday!
Tina here today with our November Challenge, Sketches!
We all love sketches. They are so versatile and can be used for inspiration in many ways. You can use them exactly as the sketch outlines, or you can use bits and pieces of the sketch to make it all your own.
This months challenges is to create a layout or card that uses this sketch as inspiration. Please let us know how you used the sketch and what inspired you. (Sketch created by our very own Ashley Horton)
You must use washi, lace,
and/or fabric tape on your layout/card (preferably from Love My Tapes - but not required), and use the sketch as your jumping off point!
To get you started, here's a layout I created using the sketch as inspiration!
I was inspired by the section behind the photos, so I die-cut a design and layered washi tape behind the open sections to add a subtle hint of color.
The following washi tapes were used:
Red/White Dot
Teal Diagonal
Yellow Stripe
Also, in place of the second photo, I added an area of embellishments.
I also loved the arrow accents, so I incorporated arrows throughout my layout.
Here are the details for the November Challenge.
1. Create a Layout or Card that used washi/lace/fabric tape in the above sketch. Please let us know how you were inspired.
2. The challenge is
open until November 25, 2012.
3. A randomly chosen
winner will win some LMT goodies.
4. Link up your
projects below.
Make sure and
participate as I am continually looking for future Love My Tape Guest Designers. Link up
