Welcome Washi Tape fans!  

Susie here to share an all occasion card with an elegant black & white color scheme and a sentiment that I have come to embrace in my everyday life.

The washi tape that I used on this card may be found in the Love My Tapes Etsy store.

Wide Black and White Music Note Butterfly washi tape

 I started by covering white cardstock with strips of the washi tape.  

I cut it to size and rounded the corners before adding a crisp white doily.

The sentiment is from a set of clear stamps from Kaisercraft, which I stamped and heat embossed with black embossing powder.

I trimmed out the sentiment, inked the edges and adhered it to the front of the card, using foam tape adhesive to pop up the word "and" for a little dimension.  Finally I adhered the finished panel onto a black card and rounded the corners of it as well!

Light Up the Night with Washi Tape!

Hello Washi Tape Fans!  

Susie here today with a quick little home dec project!

Washi tape is a quick and easy way to add a custom touch to just about anything.  

I needed to replace a night light in one of my bathrooms and I took the opportunity to play with my washi!

The tapes I used for this project can be found in the Love My Tapes Etsy store: 

Wide Music Note washi, Hot Pink Stripe washi

I found this very plain light for less than $4 at a discount store... 

...and added a strip of the Wide Music Note washi tape around the center of the largest portion of the light.  Next I applied thin strips of the Hot Pink Stripe washi tape above and below the main band.  I finished things off with a couple strips of black rhinestone bling...

...and then I turned on the light!

Floral card with wide washi tape

Hello, Love My Tapes fans! This is Maya and today I am sharing a card that I made with wide washi tape.

Most washi tapes that you see on the market come in standard size that is 5/8" wide. There are some that are thinner and some wider.

Love My Tapes has an awesome selection of beautiful wide washi tape, like this one.

Floral washi tape

It is 1 3/16" wide and can be treated as a miniature patterned paper.

I layered few pieces of washi tape on top of a vellum sheet and cut out the flowers. I than layered them on top of each other using foam tape to create a flower bouquet.

The tape already had the word "flowers", I added the letter stickers to complete the sentiment, pink stickles and few jewels.

I'm Here For You

Hi! It's Candy back with a simple card that is perfect to send to someone who is having a rough time.

To make this card, I ran strips of this bird and roses wide washi tape across the card base. TIP: I run the tape right onto my table. Then, when I am finished, I trim the edges of the tape. This helps you keep it straight and neat.

Then I used a heart die to cut out the heart space in the front. I used the same die and cut another heart from cardstock. Then I adhered it inside the card so when the card is closed, you see the pink heart.

I stamped the sentiment and adhered it to the cover and it's all done!

Nature's Window

Hi! It's Candy Spiegel here with a new project using the fabulous Love My Tapes washi tapes.

This project was inspired by a friend of mine. Click the link on my name to see her original design.

I started with a barn-wood frame, removed the glass, and added my favorite washi tape ...

To get this ....

Then, I added hardware cloth to the back of the frame and began decorating. I printed out a 5x7 picture I took recently and matted it. I gathered a bird's nest, some flowers and a few butterflies. Everything was wired onto the hardware cloth.

Many of the items were leftover from a previous project or two. I painted the little plastic bird, since he was a deep purple. I filled the little bottle with chicken grit (ground-up granite) and wired it on.

Then, I glued the Scrabble letters to spell "Nature" along the bottom.

I love how it turned out ... what do you think?
