Hello friends! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Today's fan mail comes from Theresa Amlong. Theresa currently lives in Japan (lucky girl) and loves Japanese Masking Tapes she found at local stationary stores. Love My Tapes imports our masking tapes from Japan so you can enjoy creating with them on your projects here in the U.S.
Theresa sent us a link to her blog with some fabulous layouts she created and a fun tutorial using the masking tapes. Here's a little bit about Theresa:
Konichiwa! Hi, I’m Theresa. I’m a Florida resident who currently lives in Japan. I love tooling around Japan with my husband taking photographs of the usual, the unusual, and even the mundane. When I’m not busy teaching English as a Second Language, I can be found enthusiastically creating in my scrapbook room. I love to inspire others to scrapbook and encourage the belief that there is truly no right or wrong way to go about it. I share my love of scrapbooking by teaching classes locally, writing for Mosaic Moments and hosting a website with my girlfriends called Creative Scrapbooking Divas. I frequently comb Japanese stationery stores for new finds to incorporate into my scrapbooks. Dimensional Japanese stickers, origami shapes, gorgeous washi papers and fabulous washi tape continually find their way onto my scrapbook pages! My creative goals are to continue exploring new paper crafting techniques; learning as much as I can; and inspiring others to recognize their own creativity. I also love to make new friends, so please drop by my blog Sunshine Memories and say hello!
Here's a look at Theresa's layouts
I love how Theresa used multiple strips of the masking tapes for a background on this layout. Make sure you stop by Theresa's blog Sunshine Memories to see her fabulous flower tutorial on how she made this fun embellie for her layout.
Once again Theresa layered the tapes on this layout and I love the pop of yellow. A big thanks to Theresa for sharing your work and passion for Japanese Masking Tape with us!
We enjoy featuring our fan mail artwork with our double sided adhesives or Japanese Masking Tapes. Drop your fan mail to us at LoveMyTapes@gmail.com and you could be featured on Monday Fan Mail.
Thanks for stopping by today!
