Washi + Triangles = Love!

Hi Everyone!  Ashley Horton here and I am SO EXCITED to be sharing my first post with you at Love My Tapes!!  When I received my package of tapes, I was very happy to see a Pink polka dot tape!!  I knew that would be the first one I would use for a layout.  So I put my thinking cap on, to figure out how I wanted to use it on my page.  Well we all know, of course, that Washi Tape is a huge trend, so I thought why not incorporate it into another huge trend...Triangles!!  Triangles are popping up everywhere in the fashion and crafty world, so I decided it would be fun to use them on my layout.  Here is how I created my Triangles using the Washi Tape:

1.  Cut a strip of the Washi Tape, about an inch and a half.

2.  Next, fold over one side of your tape, bringing it to the center and folding at an angle.

3.  Then fold over the other half of your tape, to meet up in the center.

4.  Once you have your Triangle formed, just cut off the excess piece along the bottom.

And here is how I used the Washi Tape Triangles on my layout:

I just used a little bit of adhesive from a fine tip Zig pen to attach the Washi Triangles and finished off the page, by adding them as photo corners and also adding some outlined Triangles!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you were inspired to find new ways to use your tapes from Love My Tapes!
