Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!!

I am 41 years young and as full of crafting ideas as the day I first set scissors to paper.

To celebrate I made a pair of tags.

Sometimes I'm classy and perfect with everything about me just so.

No loose ends, no mistakes.

Sometimes I'm wild and free, anything goes,

and I attack life with exuberance and enthusiasm.

And some days, I look around me at the mess life is

and I choose to make something beautiful out of it.

But in everything I do I seek to be genuine.

Holiday tags with washi tape and glitter cardstock

Hello Love My Tapes Fans! This is Maya and today I am going to share two quick holiday gift tags.

I started by layering strips of pretty bronze washi tape on vellum. I used Silhoueete Cameo to cut out two Christmas trees from the washi covered vellum. I adhered them to cardstock tags and added shiny stars and sparkly jewels.

I mounted the white tags on pretty glitter cardstock from Love My Tapes. The cardstock is very thick and make a very sturdy tags. I kept the adhesive backing on.

Pretty bow as a last touch and I have two festive tags ready for the holiday season.

Quick gift bag and gift tag with washi tape

Hello Love My Tapes fans! This is Maya and today I am going to share a quick gift bag and gift tag made with washi tape.

I bought a simple kraft gift bag from a craft store and decided to give it a personal touch. I used washi tape to spell "thank you" on the bag.

I didn't go for perfection here but wanted it to look cute and handmade.

 I used the same washi tape to make the flower by folding strips of washi tape, snipping the edges and and layering them in a rosette shape . I added another piece of roses and gold washi tapes to the bottom of the tag and sprinkled few sequins.

I used a piece of twine to tied the tag to the the bag handle. I will write a personal message on the back of the tag.

That's it! Quick and simple, perfect for end of school gifts or graduation gifts.

Home Sweet Home Tag....

Happy Wednesday Love My Tapes friends!  Tina here today with a extra sized tag using fabric tape as wallpaper.  Say what??  Did I say wallpaper?  Yup, you heard me right!  :)

I love creating this extra sized tags.  They are like mini canvases and are different than cards or layouts.  I really enjoy pulling out bits and pieces from my stash and some Love My Tapes tapes to create these little happy pieces of fun!

I wanted to create a mini Living Room scene on my tag, so I started with the background.  I created an old cracked wall look by using spray mist and a crackle stencil to create the background of the tag. 

Using the Brown Striped fabric tape, I created a wallpaper look on the bottom of the card and added a sticker to create a wallpaper border.

To complete the mini living room scene, I pulled out some leftover chipboard and die cut pieces from Crate Paper's Farmhouse collection and adhered in place.  Viola!  And it's done!
