Using Washi in Your Title

Hello there! It's Heather here today to share with you a new project I've made with Love My Tapes washi! I have done this technique before, but I made a fresh layout to showcase just LMT.
Washi tape is PERFECT for stabilizing your title. What do I mean? Take a look:

In this layout, I layered washi tape behind the smaller title stickers to keep the words from "floating" around. Just think how sad and left out the words "Golden Gate" would look if they weren't grounded to the page by the washi strips! I like using this technique when I have more than one word in my title, so the title can be cohesive and not look like I used too many alpha stickers on one page.

By the way, I went to San Francisco a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. We went for a yearbook conference for school. It was the first time I had been to a big city, and so it was a totally new experience for me. Plus it was extra special because my dad got to tag along. ;)

Something a little extra I like to add to the washi is machine stitching. I thought at first my machine would go crazy with the adhesive on the tape, but it hasn't. I guess since it is kind of a removable adhesive it does ok.

Thanks for stopping by the Love My Tapes blog today! I hope you are inspired!
Tapes I used:
