Hello!Charity from Scrappin' Chaos with you today.
This paper flower bouquet is the latest in bright colors and needs no water.
I used dark paper with washi tape strips to contrast the bright colors.
Stop by the SWAT blog for a tutorial to make these paper flowers.
I put this bouquet of flowers together for my daughters latest musical production. How fun it was to give her something out of the ordinary!

A Sparkly Hello

Hi Everyone!!
Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot.
I hope your week is going well!
Today I am sharing an everyday card

This tape is so pretty and sparkly!!

I made a simple everyday card with it.
I wanted the washi tape to be the star of the card.
I put down some of the sparkly washi tape then die cut my sentiment,
layered it on a few extra cut outs to help it pop out. I like the clean and simple look of this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Butterfly Birthday Wishes

Hi! It's Candy Spiegel with a simple, but elegant birthday card using Love My Tapes washi tape.

To create this card, I started by alternating two different kinds of washi tape -- Blue Damask and Yellow with Blue Butterflies -- on a piece of white cardstock. I left a bit of white showing between each strip. To make it easy, I tape it right to the table while I'm covering the cardstock and then trim the edges when I'm done.

I trimmed the piece of cardstock covered with washi tape down to the size I wanted it and adhered it on the front of a card base.

Then I added orange cardstock, blue butterflies and a blue sentiment from Elizabeth Craft Designs. And, a few tiny rhinestones from Queen & Co.

I placed an additional strip inside, just to dress it up a bit.

What do you think?

DIY Washi Tape Dish

Hey everyone, Katie here! Today I wanted to show you guys this restyle I did with washi tape! I found this cheap glass plate at Goodwill and used one of my favorite tapes to give it a new look!

You'll need a small (saucer sized) plate and a roll of washi tape.

The how-to is SO very simple. Basically, you just cover the top of the plate in washi tape.

Once you have it covered in washi tape, flip it over and use some scissors to trim away the extra tape.

I wanted to seal my tapes, just so that they wouldn't get damaged, so I went over them with a gel medium.

Note- This is not dishwasher safe!! If you want to wash these, you'll need to buy like the dishwasher safe mod podge.

Blooming Good Day!

Hello Washi Tape fans!  Susie here today with a sweet garden themed card.

The washi tape I used on this card may be found in the LoveMyTapes  Etsy store.
Red Dot Mushroom washi tape
I stamped and colored this cute little image onto white cardstock...

...then added a strip of washi tape across the bottom.  It couldn't be simpler!
The red dot mushrooms on a light blue background provided the color inspiration for the little lady!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play (with washi tape) today!

I Will Always Love My Girl

Hello Love My Tapes fans!  Today I am here with a layout that combines two of my favorite things...washi tape and digital cut files. I made my own background and then used some washi tape to create patterned paper.

Here are a few close-up pictures of the various washi tape patterns on my layout.

I really love the look of the ripped tape and having the different pieces so they don't line up on the sides.  The whimsy feel to it is perfect for this layout featuring my daughter and me.

Did you notice that the silver tape is not transparent?  I love the solid feel of this tape and the fact that it is covered in glitter just makes it over-the-top perfect.  I love the little bling it adds to my page.

Here are the links to the washi tape I used: Silver Glitter Washi Tape, Heart Washi Tape, Black Grid Washi Tape.
Thanks for joining me!

You Light Up The Room

Charity from Scrappin' Chaos sharing a cheery card that uses washi in two different ways.
~ You Light Up The Room ~
I used washi tape to define the edge of my circle frame for this card.
First I layered the washi onto vellum, then I cut a 3.5" circle.
I adhered that to the card and cut a 2.5" circle from the center, through the washi, vellum, and card front. Finally I punched the edges of the circle with a Kreaxions punch.
For the flower at the center I backed 20" of washi tape with an identical pattern then made a ribbon rose.
These are the tapes that I used:
blue damask washi tape - craft supplies - decorative tape - floral washi - Love My Tapes

Pink Waves Washi Tape LMT – 1182

Washi Tape Art Journal Page

Hi guys, Katie here! Today I wanted to show you how I created the background on this art journal page.

You'll need 2 or more different patterns of washi tape to make this look. I used a pretty floral yellow and a contrasting teal tape. You can find our tapes in the Love My Tapes etsy shop here.

Start by placing a strip of your first color across your page. It can be any direction you want.
Next take your second color, placing a strip next to the first. Repeat this a couple of times.

Now you need to fill in the rest of the page. Turn your page 90 degrees and place the edge of your tape against the tapes you already stuck down.
So your strips of tape are going in the opposite direction as the first few.

Repeat until you've covered your page, turning your page as you need to and changing the direction of your tapes.

If you overlapped your tapes any, you can use a craft knife to clean them up.

Here is my finished page in my art journal:

CAS Graduation Card with Susie

Hello Washi Tape Fans!
Susie here today to share a CAS (Clean And Simple) graduation card!

I love the graduation cards that Ange shared yesterday and thought I would share one of my own today.  This time of year it is really handy to have a few graduation cards around the house.

The tape I used for this card may be found in the Love My Tapes Etsy Store:
Purple Gold Star washi tape

I am loving the CAS style because it is so fast!
This card was created with a stamped sentiment, die cut and embossed stars, baby bling from Want2Scrap and this fun washi tape littered with gold metallic stars!

Here is another angle where you can see I "popped" up one of the small stars.
I love a little dimension, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find sometime to play (with washi tape) today!

Graduation cards w/ Ange Weisbeck

Hello there! Ange here today with a couple of Graduation cards.
It tis the season after all!

I started with an older Graduation Day line from Moxxie, that I still have in my stash. What better way to spruce up an old line than to add NEW tapes right?!

I layered the Yellow and Blue Stars tapes on this card.
They perfectly match our school colors!

For this card I picked 3 patterns from the yellows to match our school colors, then layered them on the base of my card before adding the embellishments.

Using the polka-dot, stripe and star tapes, I layered a strip and then cut each end into a banner for a little subtle detail.

I'm off to make some more graduation cards and using Love My Tapes makes it so easy!!
:)Ange
